Grades: Single View

Locate the Navigation Panel.gradessingle
  1. The Navigation Panel is likely docked if you do not see it along the side of the page. Click the button with three horizontal bars at the top of the screen and the directory will appear.navbutton
  2. Click on the Grades option located under the course name.
  3. Now the Grader Report will appear. From this point, you can access Single View in several different ways.
    1. Click the pencil icon to the right of a student’s name or an activity to directly access Single View for that student or activity.pencilsingle
    2. Click Single View on the tab to the far right of the Grader Report tab.graderreportsingle
  4. The next page will allow you to choose a student or grade item to view. The menu to Select Grade Item and Select User is located in the upper right corner above the Single View report below.gradeitemsingle
  5. This is an example of single view for an activity:

    1. The activity name will be at the top of the page.
    2. You have the ability to override a student’s grade and add feedback on this page. Click the Override box and then enter a grade and feedback; click Save when finished.overridesingle
    3. Navigate to the next activity by clicking on the links to the top right and left of the page.welcomesingle
  6. This is an example of single view for a student:

    3. Navigate to an activity’s single view by clicking on the pencil icon to the left of the activity’s name.
    4. Navigate to the next student by clicking on the links to the top right and left of the page.selectuser
  7. Finally, you can bulk insert grades at the bottom of either page. This allows you to quickly add a grade for all grades or all empty grades at one time. This can be useful if you need to give a grade of 0 to all students who didn’t complete an activity.emptygrades
